Go Smart Kids Education ("we," "our," "GSKE") is dedicated to protecting the personal data of our Users, especially Minors. This policy details our compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), concerning the collection, use, disclosure, and security of information obtained through our Services. This policy is integral to our Terms and Conditions.

B. Data Principal and Consent

• Data Principal: For a Minor, the data principal is the Parent/Guardian, who provides verifiable consent for the processing of the Minor's data.
• Consent: By registering, the Parent/Guardian explicitly consents to the collection and processing of the data as described herein, strictly for the stated purpose of delivering the educational Services.

• Internal Processing: Data is processed to deliver, personalize, and improve the quality of our educational services, maintain our ISO 9001:2015 standards, and analyze student outcomes.
• Disclosure to Franchisees/Teachers: We share only the necessary academic and contact data with our Franchisees and registered Teachers to enable them to provide the contracted services. These parties are bound by strict non-disclosure obligations.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We use secure third parties for payment processing, cloud hosting (data stored in India/abroad with strict security), and communication (e.g., WhatsApp Business API for official notices). These providers access data only as needed to perform their functions.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose data when legally required by a court order or regulatory authority in India.

E. Data Security and Retention

• Security Measures: We employ technical and organizational safeguards, including SSL encryption, role-based access control, and secure data storage, to protect against unauthorized access or data breaches, in line with IT Act, 2000, best practices.
• Data Retention: We retain data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing (active enrolment period) and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for legal compliance or dispute resolution. Parents may request deletion as per Section F.

F. Parent/Guardian Rights (Data Principal Rights)

The Parent/Guardian has the right to:

• Access and Correction: Request access to and correction of the Minor's personal data.
• Erasure (Deletion): Request the deletion of the Minor's personal data, subject to GSKE's legal retention obligations (e.g., tax records).
• Grievance Redressal: File a complaint with our Grievance Officer regarding any data processing concern.
